The difference between “beauty” and “ugly”

Today our beauty-living example, Caro and handsome Kevin Cheng started the meeting punctually. After a short introduction, Carol and Kevin showed us a comprehensive view of “Life Aesthetics” bilingually both in English and in Chinese!!!

Firstly, they showed us the Top 10 ugliest things in Taiwan such as ditch covers, iron-sheet house and so on. You know what? Campaign Flags and Street Advertising Boards accounted for 50.1% and ranked No. 1!  We discussed about the reasons and more ugly examples.

Then, our hosts took Japan and Germany as examples to present how they apply aesthetics into their environment in a natural way. Moreover, we also discussed the issues of real beauty in our daily life and practice “Beauty” in the meeting!

“Beauty” and “Taiwanese Products”

Carol urged that we could add tens or thousand times value on the Taiwanese products if “Beauty” applied into them as Japan and Germany do.

Inside Beauty

We all agree, “Beauty is in the eye of beholder” and beauty also exists in a blissful mindset.

Carol illustrated the ideas more by saying, “Aesthetics is not all about beautiful outfit, but a beautiful mind” and by showing us a picture as an example in which a disabled contestant stopped running to reach out a helping hand to a stumbled one although in the race competition. Indeed, everyone could make life wonderful with a beautiful mind

“Beauty” Practices with Eyes of Appreciation

Practice 1:

Choose the only thing of your partner, which caught your eye and expressed your admiration. One might find the counterpart’s hairstyle, glasses, watch, or smile so appealing. We searched the beauty and appreciated it from the practice!!!

Practice 2:

Comment how the outfit of your partner meant to you. Everyone really opened their eyes to look carefully and was surprised to find out how each individual’s outfits elaborately designed to demonstrate their own unique Life Aesthetics before stepping into Bliss Meeting. We performed what we thought of “Beauty” in our outfit!!!

Difference between “Copy” and “Art”

“Art” has 3 elements: Original idea, made by the artist(s), and publicly recognized while

“Copy” doesn’t own the above elements at the same time.  That’s why “Art” is much more valuable than “Copy.”

Colors, Colors

Harmonious colors: belong to the same color system of any of them: red, yellow or blue, which show dullness, low profile, and balance in application.

Contrastive colors: red contrasts with green; yellow contrasts with purple; blue contrasts with purple, which appear highlighting, change, and difference in application.

In “Life Aesthetics,” we make best of them to arouse warmth, coldness, darkness or happiness and some other emotions.

Strengthen Senses of “Beauty”

“Incorporate the senses of beauty into our daily lives by listening music, reading books, and appreciating arts”, Carol suggested.

Special Thanks

Thank Carol and Kevin for letting us know how to apply “Life Aesthetics”. When walking out of the meeting, we were full of “Beautiful” mind and senses. Oh, you two make so much difference on us! Thank you so much!!!

Part II More “Beauty” experiences to be continued…..

Flamenco dance after the meeting not only dazzled us but also lighted up our inside passion!!!  Carol and Kevin hosted the meeting just to remind us Blissers there would be more “beauty” experiences waiting for us to explore only if “Life Aesthetics” applied!!!
