Can you imagine life without lights or fire and transportation without gas or electricity?

 

It will be a huge disaster especially for Taiwan lacking in energy resources which needs importing from other countries.

 

This coming Saturday on Jan.6, our highly recommended Energy Expert, will enlighten us the various kinds of energy resources in the world and which one(s) Taiwan relies on and challenges it meets?.

 

Most importantly, what kinds of future energy Taiwan can possibly adopt?

My Dear Blissers,

On Jan. 6, 2018, the day for our first Bliss meeting right after New Year, I am happy and honored to have the opportunity to host “ Energy in Taiwan”, which will cover the following aspects.

1, Type of world energy resources.


2, What energy resources we have in Taiwan?

3, How is Taiwan’s power generation?


In order to achieve our primary goal to learn English, before coming to the meeting, I would appreciate if my dear Blissers could translate and find out the meanings of those Chinese terms listed below. We are going to discuss them together.

On this meeting, I will show you several short videos concerning solar energy, wind energy, ocean energy, thermos energy and etc. Each video Is in English and lasts around five min. After viewing each video, you will be given opportunity to summarize or retell the story from what you see.

Energy and power generation are very important issues today.
