My Dear Blissers,

Have you heard of FAPA?

How are Left and Right Wings influencing in policies?

This coming Saturday, we feel privileged to invite our New Blood, Eric from FAPA, who surely can give us more perspectives and unveil the hidden efforts!

Join me in welcoming Eric’s introduction and agenda as follows:

Introduction

The terms left-wing and right-wing are widely used in the United States, but as on the global level there is no firm consensus about their meaning. The only aspect that is generally agreed upon is that they are the defining opposites of the United States political spectrum.

Left and right in the U.S. are generally associated with liberal and conservative respectively, although the meanings of the two sets of terms do not entirely coincide. Depending on the political affiliation of the individual using them, these terms can be spoken with varying implications.

Meeting agenda

1. Distinguish the ideology between Left and Right.

2. Give examples of policies leaning toward Left/Right.

3. FAPA’s role and accomplishments.

Guided questions

1. What are the current issues and hot political topics in our community?  How left/right political perspectives can be applied to those issues?

2. Have you ever visit a Congressman/woman’s office?  Have you ever contact an elected government official for issues you concerned with?

3. If there is a referendum election, what issues do you wish to be included in the referendum?
