Hi Blissers,

On 18th January our dear host Daniel O|U chose three short stories: The Four Reformers, The Devil and The Innkeeper and The Men and His Friend by his favorite author Robert Louis Stevenson. Bllissers were divided into three groups to pick one story for discussion. Daniel prepared ten interesting questions for us to think about and we learned a lot of from sharing our interpretation and lessons from these fables. It was truly inspring!

"Oh my god LOKI - Tom Hiddleston”  by Ashow 

English actor Tom Hiddleston has earned everyone’s heart for his playing the villain LOKI in the Marvel movies. You may be impressed by his unique laughing Ehehehehe in the films Thor, The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World. There’s been fan-art, cosplays, fan-fiction and videos in the dark corners of the internet. The god of mischief blew the Hall H audience away at San Diego Comic-Con.

And more: Tom plays Shakespeare in London National Theatre and is taking his career vigorously. He is famously courteous to his fans and devoted to charity like UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund). The more I visit his big fan Misha’s blog, the more I love him. Don’t miss Tom this Saturday afternoon. Feast your eyes!

On 11^th January our dear hostess Sophia shared her fascinating tour to the incredible India last year. We talked our primary impression of it and Sophia showed us videos and photos to bring us to this mysterious land. We had the first Gala’s experience of charming Arabic Heena designs. Dear All,

This Saturday, I am going to introduce you great aScottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer Robert Louis Stevenson. His most famous works are Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. 

I have chosen three short stories from him, which are my favorite and very edification:

• 1) The four reformers;
• 2) The Devil and the Innkeeper; and
• 3) The Man and His Friend.

In the meeting if we read and discuss them deeply I bet we can get more than we think. Please join us and have fun! Please find the following agenda:

• 14:00-14:30   Member introduction  – all the members will be divided into 3 group
• 14:30-15:00   Every group choose a story (read and discussion)
• 15:00-15:45   Presentation of each group – talk about the story and translate in Chinese
•                      Read aloud the story and share what you gain after reading
• 16:00-17:00   Summary by the host and Q&A

On 4th Jan the host Kevin shared a best-selling book by the later college professor Randy Rush about living, the importance of overcoming obstacles, enabling the dreams of ours and others and seizing every moment. In the group discussion participants were divided in four groups to talk about “what makes me unique”. Last Kevin asked everyone to write down our top ten dreams to achieve and encouraged everyone to lead your life the right way so that the karma will take care of itself and the dreams will come to you.
