Hello~~~Dear bliss member
How are you all guys ? We have had no meeting for two weeks. Everyone must feel very empty and even upset for that.

However, the good thing is that this weekend our senior member, Clark, will give us a great meeting concerning Job engagement and work morale. We all have "Blue Monday" syndrome sometimes. It's a perfect chance for us to get rid of it and concentrate on our tasks.

Here are Clark's brief introduction and agenda.

Fire Yourself---and Other Revolutionary Ways to Discover Your True Calling at Work

Find work that you love. Then, instead of complaining whenever Mondays arrives, you can look forward with enthusiasm to getting back to work each week. The workplace has changed, and today there are more opportunities than ever before to find work that aligns with your own passions and interests. If you can't find a position that is like that, it's also easier than ever to go into business for yourself doing what you love. The opportunities are there, and it just takes the courage to leave your nine-to-five treadmill and put yourself in a position where you excel because you're doing what you're passionate about.

We can all find, or create, meaningful work. It's much more than earning a paycheck. Most of us express a desire to make the world a better place. Each of us is equipped with unique skills to accomplish that. Your work may be building quality houses, being an excellent physician, teaching with passion, running a business with integrity, or being an exemplary employee. Find the work that releases your strongest talents and passions, and you will join the growing ranks of those who experience No More Mondays!!

If you're one of those people who dread going to work on Mondays, please join us this Saturday afternoon and find your own potential to embrace change!!

Agenda:

14:00 ~ 14:15 Warm up

14:15 ~15:00 Presentation--Create a job that expresses who you are and what you believe

15:00~15:20 Tea Break

15:20~16:00 Seminar--Think about your opportunities more than you worry about being "secure"

16:00~16:20 Tea Break

16:20~17:00 Role Play--Embrace the changes which happen and make the most of them

17:00~17:30 Group Discussion

Dear Blissers,

Last week Dennis prepared an outstanding meeting for us.
Negotiation is a kind of skill also an art.

Pierce,Carrie,Elsa,Barkley,Ivonne,Michael,Elise,Joey,Owen,Judy,Angela,Page,Ella,Sei,Gene

Dear Blissers,

Last week Chingchih talked about Family with us and share some useful info to enhance the relationship in the family.
I believe everyone's ideal family and are different but it can not be denied family is really important to everyone.

This week the host will be our senior member Dennis.
He will talk about the "Basics on Negotiations"

Topic: Basics on negotiations

Is sales a profession? It certainly is. How many salespersons are there in BLISS?
You want to make a guess? No-brainer, isn't it?
Well, isn't it unfair that there are no sales divisions in the college? Professors simply don't teach that.  Hum…does that imply sales is not a subject that can be taught or learned?
The same question goes to purchasing.
People do selling and buying day in and day out. Or, let me put it in the other way, people do bargaining day in and day out.
In a more fancy term, people NEGOTIATE all the time.
Well, it's not a rocket science. Just as management is but a quasi-science, one "only" finds gazillions of books and articles talking about how to negotiate and how to manage. Yeah, overwhelmingly!
Let's see some of the basics on negotiation. Is there any magic in it? Perhaps. Is it in anyway scientific? You may be surprised.
Would you become a better negotiator in business or in any other daily activities if you learn more about the basic skills?  I can promise you this much--you will be more aware of what're behind all negotiations, big ones and trivial ones, bright and dark sides. And, that will force you to think more and want to know more.
See. To do selling is fun. To do purchasing is a lot of fun. To negotiate with a little bit of knowledge is a way to nirvana—the heavenly fun.
Last but not least, it's not only about money. Money is but a side-dish coming after hands and is only a tiny piece of the entire fun tour.

Agenda:
14001420  Self introductions: what do you do for living?

14201520  Presentation: Negotiation 101: What does people do in business negotiation

15301550  Table discussion: Preparing for role play in various scenarios

1550-1600     Break

1600-1640    Role Play: Negotiations

1630-1700    Wrap-up and Q&A

This week the host will be 晴芷 and the topic is family.

Familyso close so far

People who watch TV, eat, sleep and share the same roof with you. People, you could just  be yourself when you are with. You don't need to worry about  what to wear and how you should talk. That's your family

Does this ever happen to you? You have dinner with your family but have nothing to say. When you break up with your bf or gf, your sister/brothere has no idea and you don't want to discuss with her/him. You try to talk about your dreams with your parents, but you don't think that they will support. You want to share something important with them but don't know how.

You are physically so close but maybe psychologically so far.

Home, is your house really a sweet home?

This weekend, chingchih, will be the host discuss the family relationship and share the tips to get closer with your family.

14001425  self introduction with  very interesting questions

14251530  questions and discussion

15301550  short clip about family

1550-1600                break

1600-1630    discuss about the film

1630-1700    time to share

see you in GLT!

Dear Blissers,

This week the host will be Owen and he is going talk about some interesting questions.

Please come and join us.

There are two parts in my meeting.

1st : Since we were very young, our world is full of QUESTION mark (?). Do you ever really try to know why it happens and how it comes. I will give you some questions and let you discuss with each other. Your creative and inspired answers are expected. For example, the ice from North Pole and South Pole, which one is more delicious ? Why is the size of Tofu always same ? Why is Santa Claus always in red dress ? Why is Milk white but Butter is yellow ?

2nd , I will play a stupid but funny game with all of you. I believe you will love it.

Words from Jessica

The meeting was so compactness, I do't even have time to memorize you guys name and say hello to everyone.
I should say thank you for all of you and give your big hands, it's a very impressive club.

When I got the DM from bookstore in two months ago I plan to join the meeting when I get the time

Although the plan is still pending but I never stop thinking; such as:

What kind of people has time to run the club for ten years without any profit?

Who have time to arrange or join club in every weekend?

How can your team keep members coming?

After I joined the meeting, I even feel more marvelous;

The host must be qualified enough to hold meeting for three hours,

He or she has to create some attractive activities that the members can pay attention and won't feel bored.

They must spend a lot of time on preparing the contents, which may search on Internet. Drawing the hand out

Copy from DVD or film, and "the prize" also a good way to encourage members to actor in the competition.

During the meeting, some senior members seem try to challenge the host, but the way they preformed are full sense of humor, Ican feel your team have good unspoken consensus .

I was so concreter in competition and laughing all the time that I was hungry in during the break time, I think this is one way too lose weight.

Anyway, you guys are really something, Thank again for running a good club,

The following website is the company I am working for,

http://learning.udn.com/mag/learning/index.jsp

I have job duty in most weekends, but it seems March 8 is ok,

I hope no more class will occupy in this day,

Looking forward to seeing you soon!!!!
