Welcome the Bliss Wonder4 Girls! On Feb 22^nd the hostesses shared communication skills from visual and audio respects. First Yvonne taught how to write business letter/e-mail with clear ad specified information, comparing good with bad examples. Cara and Selina then shared with us the most commonly use charts and diagrams: pie chart, bar chart, line chart, flowchart and procedures diagram. In exercise time every Blissers made his/her own pie chart about daily activities and discussed how to improve it. Lastly, Sanli improved everyone’s negotiation skills by role playing; now we know not only what we want but also how to get it. Good job!

Hi Blissers,

On Feb 8th thanks for Nelly’s efforts in offering us relaxing and marvelous tea time with precious French desserts. We not only tasted different kinds of French desserts (Macaron, les Caneles, Madeleine….etc.) but also learned interesting stories and history behind this sweet banquet. We might not pronounce those French words correctly, but we did enjoy the exotic experience on our taste buds. 

During charades time, we guessed the dessert’s name by body language or description which was really fun. We learned more about worldwide desserts and also shared our favorite desserts in Taiwan. With Nelly’s leading and sharing, we enjoyed the French feast and French dessert culture. No wonder Nelly made a new record with the highest number of class participants!

• 1/25 meeting: Congrats to Angel & Serina for the best cosplay as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. We enjoyed and laughed for watching the videos Honest Trailer of Thor, Why Loki is So Hot and Loki in SDCC. What makes Tom Hiddleston eloquent and incredibly charming is that he has a cheerful and philosophical soul. Tom’s answers about how to draw positivity, balance between commercial blockbusters and stage plays and time travel in the panel Nerd HQ - Conversation was brilliant and fantastic. In group discussions every Blissers shared their ideas cheerfully and we agreed Tom’s quote, “Take pains, be perfect”!

Hi Blissers,

On 18th January our dear host Daniel O|U chose three short stories: The Four Reformers, The Devil and The Innkeeper and The Men and His Friend by his favorite author Robert Louis Stevenson. Bllissers were divided into three groups to pick one story for discussion. Daniel prepared ten interesting questions for us to think about and we learned a lot of from sharing our interpretation and lessons from these fables. It was truly inspring!

"Oh my god LOKI - Tom Hiddleston”  by Ashow 

English actor Tom Hiddleston has earned everyone’s heart for his playing the villain LOKI in the Marvel movies. You may be impressed by his unique laughing Ehehehehe in the films Thor, The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World. There’s been fan-art, cosplays, fan-fiction and videos in the dark corners of the internet. The god of mischief blew the Hall H audience away at San Diego Comic-Con.

And more: Tom plays Shakespeare in London National Theatre and is taking his career vigorously. He is famously courteous to his fans and devoted to charity like UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund). The more I visit his big fan Misha’s blog, the more I love him. Don’t miss Tom this Saturday afternoon. Feast your eyes!

Dear All,

This Saturday, I am going to introduce you great aScottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer Robert Louis Stevenson. His most famous works are Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. 

I have chosen three short stories from him, which are my favorite and very edification:

• 1) The four reformers;
• 2) The Devil and the Innkeeper; and
• 3) The Man and His Friend.

In the meeting if we read and discuss them deeply I bet we can get more than we think. Please join us and have fun! Please find the following agenda:

• 14:00-14:30   Member introduction  – all the members will be divided into 3 group
• 14:30-15:00   Every group choose a story (read and discussion)
• 15:00-15:45   Presentation of each group – talk about the story and translate in Chinese
•                      Read aloud the story and share what you gain after reading

On 4th Jan the host Kevin shared a best-selling book by the later college professor Randy Rush about living, the importance of overcoming obstacles, enabling the dreams of ours and others and seizing every moment. In the group discussion participants were divided in four groups to talk about “what makes me unique”. Last Kevin asked everyone to write down our top ten dreams to achieve and encouraged everyone to lead your life the right way so that the karma will take care of itself and the dreams will come to you.
