• On 28^th June Sheena taught us what CPR is and who needs to know CPR. There are three important tips, i.e. CAB to perform CPR. Sheena showed us the correct demonstration and practiced with us:
•      C – Initiate chest compressions
•      A – Check the victim’s airway
•      B – Initiate rescue breathing
• She also shared with us the functions of AED (Automated External Defibrillator: 自動體外心臟電擊器) in rescue. Thanks Sheena for such an educating meeting!

• Starting from the video of the sweet wedding ceremony of Iris & Clark in church, Iris let every participants to share their idea before the wedding - what I need to do? Necessity or Alternative.

• Next Iris shared the useful tips from marriage preparation course they learned, such as "learn to speak your spouse's Love language", "give thanks adjectives for your spouse had done", "recall what your spouse likes or loves or did the favorite matter", "how to re-build intimacy after conflict". Also thanks the newlywed for the active demonstrations and practice time.

Through Tanya’s introduction, we had a basic understanding of a useful online course called Desteni I process Lite (http://lite.desteniiprocess.com/). This on line course is free and offers buddy support to assist us to discover ourselves. This program is designed to be applicable in our daily life and helps us to overcome our anxieties, boredom, relationship friction, etc. If we finish this course, we will understand our problems in detail and apply the correction accordingly.
 
In the meeting, we learned we are the ones who create the reality. If we want to make a difference, we have to understand how we create our world. Physical act of writing is very important tool which can assist us to bring all the thoughts to work with. Through discussion of each steps and practice of writing our thoughts, we all learned more about the logic and operation of our inner reality. Thanks for Tanya’s sharing us this interesting tool!

• On May 24^th Ellen introduced an inspiring article “Coming to an office near you” from The Economist magazine about how innovations displace jobs. Ellen taught us first to read the article as a whole, then goes to each paragraph and lastly to read word by word. When you read an article, you will think why the writer says so. The Blissers were asked to read aloud one paragraph first and then summarize it into one sentence. Also Ellen encouraged everyone to watch online speeches on TED and enjoy those interesting presentations.

The Mistborn series《迷霧之子》is four high fantasy novels written by Brandon Sanderson and published by Tor Fantasy. On 26^th April Archer introduced this enchanting story to us. We talked about our favorite movies for hero worships of super nature such as the fictional character Spider-man and the American cultural icon Superman. We asked Blissers what super-power (super nature ability) they would like to have. Wouldn't it be amazing if you could fly, have an Anywhere Door (任意門) and be invisible?

Through Jeff’s professional introduction on Apr.19, we learned about the variety of wines and factors affecting the wines’ quality. Jeff also gave us wine tasting advice, such us how to hold a wine cup, how to swirl wine, how to clink wine cup, how to choose a suitable wine, how to open a bottle of wine. Wisely, Serina and Sharon Wu all practiced opening the wine bottles and did a great job. It’s interesting to learn table etiquette which is different from our previous assumptions. After Jeff’s meeting, we will have more elegant table manners while wining and dining with others.

During the meeting and dinner time, we tasted different kinds of wines and learned important information from wine label. We all agreed with Jeff, the happiest life is drinking good wine with goods friends. What an impressive meeting. Thank you! Jeff!

Jan 2014 I had Biz trip to Israel for more than a week and visited lots of ancient palaces, castles, fortes and relics tracing back to thousand years ago where all famous historical regimes, civilization and religions crossed in this legendary land with sacred spirits. 

I would like to share some travelling experience in this magic and energetic nation which ever suffered ruthless attacks in neighborhood of hostile countries. Today the outshining star with most advanced technologies and venture courage is very much worth our study into Hebrew culture and how they survived the rigid environment and grew strong and tall to defeat their enemies.
