Hi Blissers,
Last week, Genie gave us an amazing and wonderful meeting.
In the beginning, we red an article and most of us thought it is difficult because too many vocabulary we don't know it.
Genie showed us another way which we have never known to appreciate the article.
She also taught us to make Limerick.
Here are some of works.
(1)
Taipei, a place, where you pay for everything,
Shop wisely before buying anything,
Day in and day out you work hard to survive.
Light on or light off you need to strive.
It’s better to have a father give you something.
(2)
Bliss is the best club on the earth
Here you have English, or friends, or both
Four outings for fun per year
If you want, join us with a beer
Come here open your mind and your mouth
Also, we played a game. We chose a topic - Dog and everyone wrote a sentence about it and didn't show it to anyone.
We combined all sentences together. Amazing thing happened.
Those sentences really had some connection between them and it formed a good article.
Here it is.
DOG
I do not like dogs a bit
I cannot figure why they never stop barking.
He is the best friend of human beings.
No one likes dog shit
Dog is the most faithful animal to human beings
With a dog, you will never feel lonely
Barking to strangers
He loves to play with you.
I don’t like dogs, but I love dogs.
The rest of participate is Barkley, Ellen, Yvonne, Kevin Huang, Vicky, Joey, Menta, Judith, Selina, Millie, Natalie and Daniel

Dear Blissers:
This March we had a pleasant afternoon to talk about tips on how to find the right lawyer for your case.
Now it's time to go deeper for lesson two: Introduction of English Contract.
Instead of reading boring cases on contract law, we will first take a look at English terminology relating to contracts by playing a cloze game. Then I will give a brief introduction of the framework of contract. A draft of purchase agreement of certain goods will be provided for group discussion. Each group will bargain for its own best interest and explain the reason for its decision.
Agenda for July 28, 2012
14:00 - 14:15 Warm up: Introduce yourself and the contact you've signed
14:15 - 15:00 Game 1: Vocabulary - English Contract
