We really appreciate the opportunity to learn the experience of working-holiday in Australia by Claire last Saturday.
In order to watch her budget, she made her own meal with simple and cheap food.
Since it is not safe for Asian tourists there, she bought a car with her friends. Therefore, they could travel wherever they want to and ensure their safety even travel in unsafe area.
Furthermore, she discussed deeply the difference between working without permission (黑工) and working with visa (白工). When working without visa, this is illegal but you do not need to pay tax. However, when you work with a working holiday visa (WHV), you need to pay tax, and the tax rate has been increased over years according to the new regulations.
She also introduced the concept of the second WHV (二簽), and how will the new income-tax regulation affect the future WHV holders.
Finally, she shared the beauty of Hamelin Pool Marine Nature Reserve.
