Dear Blissers,

It rained cats and dogs before Tina's meeting last Sat. As an education manager, I was so worried no members would join the meeting even I thought to postpone the meeting. When I arrived on 北義, 12 members came one by one. I was so touched and we all enjoyed a lot in Tina's meeting. She shared her special experience studying in China and let us know the different life style in China. Please appreciate the photos in her meeting by the link : http://tw.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bliss_taipei/album?.dir=1d39scd&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//tw.photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos

This week, another excellent memeber, Genie, will host the meeting about the Children Englsih. She is an experienced English teacher who teaches in a famous school in Taipei. Do you know what's the difference to teach kids English and adults ? Any special tricks and skill ? How will you prepare to teach your baby English now or in the future ? Please make this Sat. afternoon available to join her meeting.

NO CHINESE in class. Can a 4-year old kid understand your English? Would you like to teach children English? How interesting and exhausting it is to teach little kids? This weekend, I’d like to invite all of you to join us for a fun and hands-on afternoon.

I need to remind you that this week we will still have our meeting in 北義極品.

Dear Blissers,

Last weekend, our ex-Chairman, Willy, hosted a wonderful meeting and shared a lot of his treasure Russian experience with us. We knew the theater hostage event, Vitas great vocal and Professor Lee's interesting Chinese year painting. You can enjoy the pictures from this link : http://tw.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bliss_taipei/album?.dir=6e0cscd&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//tw.photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos

This weekend, our teacher Vivian will host a very interesting but sensitive meeting. "How old are you ?" "Are you over 30?"  What is the difference between 20 and 30 something?" If you are over 30, please share with us your expereince. If you are below, please come to join is and make preparations for your coming 30.

Are you anxious about entering the gate of Age 30? How do you change after your 30th birthday? Whether you are coming closer to or leaving away from "Being 30 years old," you must have very complicated feelings. It's time for us to speak frankly of and share them with the Blissers.

You will be divided into two groups -- Over 30 and Under 30. (Yes, you have to tell us your age... Trust us, we won't make a fuss about it.) Then you will consult, interrogate and even confront each other in terms of generation gap, life philosophy, attitude towards work or marriage, etc. You will be asked to examine your physical and mental condition at this turning point of life. Be prepared for questions such as "Do you think you are middle-aged?" "Do you gain weight more easily?" "Have you lost you dream?" or "What worries you the most?"

Warning: this can be very personal, because we are going to carefully check our life and perspective with each other, but the discussion will be profound as well as interesting with your frankness and sincerity.

Dear Blissers,

We had a wonderful time with our ChairWoman, Vicky's excellent meeting. And we all know what Jazz is and who Banny Goodman and Duke Eliington are. If you miss this meeting, please do not lose the photos again. Please enjoy the link : http://tw.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bliss_taipei/album?.dir=daf3scd&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//tw.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bliss_taipei/my_photos%3furlhint=actn,del%253as,1%253af,0

This weekend, one of our ex-Chairman, Willy, will give us a very special meeting. "Russia" seems a familiar but strange country for us. How much you know about it ? Will will tell you something/event about this country you never heard. Please come to join us this week.

What is the connection or focus between the three parts under this topic?  The smartest person like you must guess it right. Yes, the answer is - Russia. Last time Sveta and me are the only TWO who can tell you something, anything and everything about Russian 100% exactly.  Fortunately, no, sorry, I should say, Unfortunately, Sveta is taking the 100 Icons, 1000 hours, and 10000 miles trip of Iconology in Russia now; therefore, this Saturday you all enjoy the Russian exotic meeting held by Willy solely. Sadly enough, yet I do mean it!

In the beginning, I am going to prepare and show you many kinds of materials and resource of the most unbelievable tragedy happening on 2002-10-24 named “Nord-Ost”.  During that time, it is easy to know how hard Discovery channel made the video record which is not yet published.
http://www.vitas.com.ru/titul_eng.htm

Next, we are going to listen and watch the MV + performance record played by Vitas. He is the ONLY person in the world able to make the sound in eight times octave burst from his ultimate “human instrument.”  Watch out! EIGHTS TIME OCTAVE!  Trust me, you are only able to do two or three times as maximum. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/russian/news/newsid_2694000/2694969.stm

By my past experience and time estimation, we will hardly have time to go through part three, because of the excellent preparation and content of part one and two. But we never say enough in Bliss.  So I still prepare the part three for you. What is the application, purpose and meaning of the new year picture? Who is god of oven (kitchen god)?  What is the difference between oven god and Owen god? Who is Mammon?  Let Rifitin introduce them to you. http://www.orientalstudies.ru/rus/index.php?option=com_personalities&Itemid=74&person=173

Ok, I am waiting for your coming!

Dear Blissers,

After two weeks waiting, finally, we will have a new meeting this week. Elise Kao, the host of this week, is a senior member who always gives all blissers best quality meeting.

She will share with us something of the food service industry this week. The topic is related with her current job. most important of all, she will bring some food machines to show us and make the demostration of the operation. It means all of us can have a great chance to enjoy the tasty stuff. please do not miss Elise meeting.

If we got only NT$100 left to survive a day, we might use NT$20 for a sandwich as breakfast, spend NT$30 on cold noodles to fill our stomach and eat up the remaining to hang on the night.  We would not shop in “Wo-fan-pu” or commute by taxi, except those who prefer dying instead of isolating themselves from unnecessary spending.

The definition of “necessary” spending may vary depending on each person’s philosophy.  However, to human nature, it goes to “food” naturally. No matter you are rich or poor, you got to eat.  This is why foodservice industry exists forever no matter the economy is good or bad.

When we are pissed off by our colleagues/bosses, sometimes a thought pops out of our mind that “why don’t we start our business” or “why don’t I be my own boss”?
We think about what to do.  Usually, people choose to enter foodservice industry because the initial investment can be small.  “Can be small” does not mean you can succeed by a limited amount of money; it just means you can “enter” this business field easier relatively.

On June 30, I am going to introduce you what foodservice equipment and supplies are.  In order to do so, I will make drinks in front of you for you all to taste and tell you how to calculate the cost.  Moreover, I will bring two small machines to our meeting venue to demonstrate the functions and you may also put your hands on them.   I will, last but not the least, share with you some English words commonly used in foodservice industry.

Dear Blissers,

We really had a lot of fun by Barkley excellent meeting last week. Story telling brings us lots inspiration and imagination. The stories which Barkley prepared gave us different ideas about children reading.

This week, another senior member,Patrick, will give us another different kind of topic. I think most people have heard about Web 2.0. This week, he gonna tell us what Business 2.0 is. And how 8 technology to save the world. If you really care about our enviornment, please come to join us.

You may have heard of this new revolutionary term. The so-called Web 2.0 is
now flourishing all over the world. If you are still slow to reach to face such neo-wave, you will certainly be an old dog. That means you can’t play new tricks? No, the cranky and sparkling web 2.0 stuff is tricky itself, and you’ll probably never know what’s what in the next minute before you begin to understand.

Thanks to vary-from-minute-to-minute web technologies, we have so many mushrooming new web businesses catching our every brain cell, and touching our nerves. Most famously in Taiwan, the Wrench, to everyone’s well acknowledgement. Now, welcome to enter the new world of the Next 25 Business 2.0 Websites in USA, which were selected by CNN to be the next rising stars like the web giants, Google or eBay.

Is the world coming to such a perilous stage for us to save? Well, if you
haven’t been aware of that, you had better watch “The Inconvenient Truth.” Now there might be some ways brought up by the scientists as ray of hope. Let’s explore the very desirable anti-toxin doses for the ill Earth.

Dear Blissers,

Wish all of you spent a wonderful Mother's Day with your lovely mother. A brand new meeting comes this week. Learning English well is the best way to express your love to your mother. So please come to join no doubt.

Barkley is the host of this week. He is not only the senior member in Bliss but also the most valuable single noble. His topic this week is Storytelling. His meetings in the past were very popular by all male and female members (especially female). Wish all of you can hand carry your imagination to join his meeting this Saturday.

it’s Barkley’s great honor to share you this super good topic !
Believe it or not, the one who is good at this make this person “ amazing “
Wow I couldn’t wait to see you all then…

1. Storytelling is the ancient art of conveying events in words, images, and sounds. Stories have probably been shared in every culture and in every land as a means of entertainment, education, preservation of culture and to instill knowledge and values morals.
2. Storytelling: Passport to Success in the 21stCentury
Human beings have been communicating with each other through storytelling since we lived in caves and sat around campfires exchanging tales. What is new today about the art of telling stories is the purposeful use of narrative to achieve a practical outcome with an individual, a community, or an organization. Four of the world's leading thinkers on knowledge management explore how storytelling will become the key ingredient to managing communications, education, training, and innovation in the 21st century.
