Dear Blissers,

Last Saturday we discussed a lot about "what a good manage should be" and also tried to solve the problems in case study.To my surprise,there were only 2 votes for the preference for female bosses,3 votes for no preference and 12 votes as an overwhelming majority for male bosses.(Some blissers said female bosses tend to be emotional.)Through the case study,we found some blissers were task-oriented and some were people-oriented which made them have quite different attitudes toward team building.It was interesting to know each other's opinions.Below are some vocabulary which I'd like to share with you.

autocratic 獨裁的/ jump ship=job hopping/ delegate=empower / resent=dislike / walk the talk 說到做到/ hands-off = laissez-faire/ laid-back=relaxed/
arrogant 傲慢自大的/ boastful 自誇的

This upcoming Saturday we will have a special meeting co-hosted by Annie and Barkley.Many people work hard to earn "enough money" for their retirement life,but have you ever pictured what kind of "retirement life" you really want to have? Franklin Benjamin said there are three faithful friends: an old wife,an old dog and ready money.I think it also applies to describe a happy retirement life,of course for the unmarried people,it is also good to replace old wife by old friend or his/her own hobbies.What do you think of your ideal retirement life?Please come and share with us!The meeting place will be Brown Coffee 2F.Below is the letter from Annie.

Dear Blissers,
 
     Most of you are aged from 25  to 40, your life is full of hustles and bustles: for your family and your job, you may stay up late and get up early; or you may sleep in one place and wake up in another....
 
     In many times of your life, you would hope you could sit back, only enjoy the leisure and learning?  Or you may live in the country, windsurf in Hawaii, visit the castles in Europe....,and so on.  However, at present, you can do nothing and you can go nowhere. Day by day you just follow the routine and dry your life up.  You know what you can do is wait for the "retirement."
 
     Why wait?  I am so honored to invite Barkley to co-host the meeting. In the meeting, we are going to think "our dream retirement " out aloud. We are going to picture it, frame it, describe it, connect it and hopefully realize it in the future.
